Biography

An important corpus passed under the name of Dionysius the Areopagite, mentioned in Acts 17:34. The author may have been a Christian of Syrian origin who stayed in Athens (influenced by the neoplatonists Proclus and Damascius) at the end of the 5^th or early 6^th century.
